AI Use Policy
NeuroRank uses artificial intelligence and machine learning in the delivery of its scoring, analysis, and recommendation features. This policy explains how AI is used, what data it processes, what it does not do, and what this means for you.
1. How AI Is Used in NeuroRank
1.1 The NeuroRank Scoring Engine
The N1-N7 scoring system uses a combination of rule-based analysis, natural language processing, machine learning models, and structured data analysis to evaluate brand visibility across AI-indexed channels. The scoring methodology is proprietary to NeuroRank, is confidential, and is continuously updated to reflect changes in how AI systems surface and cite brand content.
1.2 AI-Assisted Recommendations
Some features generate recommendations and insights using large language model (LLM) APIs from third-party AI providers, including Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, and Perplexity as applicable. These recommendations are generated based on research, search data, competitive analysis, and platform data. They are not personalised financial, legal, or professional advice, and they are not generated solely from your individual inputs. All recommendations produced by NeuroRank are starting points for your own analysis. It is your sole responsibility to evaluate and apply any recommendation based on your own professional experience, judgment, and market knowledge. NeuroRank accepts no liability for outcomes arising from the application of AI-generated recommendations. Refer to Terms of Service Section 6 (Disclaimers) for the full disclaimer.
1.3 What AI Does Not Do
- AI does not make autonomous decisions with legal or significant practical consequences for you without human review.
- AI does not access your email, social media, or external data sources without your explicit setup.
- AI does not retain memory between sessions unless you have explicitly enabled a saved history feature.
- AI outputs are not legal, financial, SEO, or professional advice. They require human review and professional judgment before implementation.
- AI cannot guarantee, or cause, improvements in your search engine rankings, paid media performance, AI citation rates, organic visibility, or any other visibility or business metric. Using NeuroRank does not automatically improve your brand’s AI visibility.
- AI cannot predict with certainty how specific AI systems such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, or others will cite or reference your brand in the future.
- AI cannot replace the need for you to produce quality content, maintain a consistent digital presence, and implement the platform’s recommendations with professional care.

- AI models can reflect biases present in their training data. We work to identify and mitigate such biases.
- Outputs must be reviewed by a qualified professional before being used to make significant business decisions.
- NeuroRank is not responsible for decisions made on the basis of AI-generated outputs without appropriate human review.
- The absence of a recommendation or a low score does not constitute legal, commercial, or strategic advice of any kind.
4. Human Oversight and Appeals
- Our product and data teams regularly review scoring outputs for accuracy and bias.
- Users can flag incorrect outputs using the in-platform feedback function.
5. AI and Automated Decision-Making
NeuroRank scores and assessments relate to brands and organisations, not to natural persons. They do not constitute automated decision-making about individuals under Article 22 of UK/EU GDPR.
